Board of Trustees & Committee Chair Volunteer Application

Complete the form below to apply for a position on the AAP Board of Trustees or to serve as a Committee Chair. There are currently openings for the following positions with a term starting in February 2026:

• Board Member at Large (2)
• Board International Member at Large (1)
• Public Policy Committee Chair (Ex Officio Board Member)
• Research Committee Chair (Ex Officio Board Member)
• Program Subcommittee Vice Chair
• AAMC Rep (Ex Officio Board Member)

Applicants must be a current Diplomate, Early Career, International, Emeritus or Distinguished member of the AAP.

Board member volunteers should previously have been a member of an AAP Committee, Council or Task Force. Service as a Chair or leadership role is preferred, but not required. The AAP Board meets monthly by conference call and twice a year in person.
