The AAP Regenerative Rehabilitation Consortium (ARRC) is excited to announce Regen Rehab ’26!

Regenerative medicine is evolving quickly, with thousands of clinical trials underway and new therapies becoming more widely available. As these treatments continue to grow, healthcare providers have new opportunities to improve patient care. Understanding the role of rehabilitation alongside regenerative medicine is key to turning scientific advances into meaningful clinical outcomes.

This symposium explores the intersection of regenerative medicine and rehabilitation. You'll have the opportunity to engage with leading experts as they share the latest research, real-world applications, and practical challenges of bringing these therapies into clinical practice.

Call for Abstracts

Poster deadline: Thursday, August 13, 2026

Submit Abstract

We are now accepting abstract submissions for Regen Rehab '26. Abstracts should address the principles of regenerative medicine and how rehabilitation interfaces with these state-of-the-art technologies for optimal patient recovery.

Topics

Topics that will be considered include but are not limited to the following:

Clinical Regenerative Medicine (musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, cardiopulmonary, integrumentary)
Technology
Mechanical Stimulation in Cellular Therapeutics and Tissue Engineering
In Vitro and In Vivo Investigations
Sensors to Monitor Tissue and Body Responses to Mechanical Stimulation
Prosthetics and Regenerative Rehabilitation
Biomaterials and Device Interface
Advances in the Biology of Tissue Regeneration and Plasticity/ Implications for Clinical Practice
And others

Presentation Formats

All accepted abstracts will be expected to participate in the poster session. The meeting will include two formats for presentations:

Oral Presentations: abstracts will be selected for short oral presentations followed by 5 minutes for questions.
Poster Session: Presenters will be assigned to a session, during which they will attend their poster, answer questions, and discuss their work.

Case Reports and Research Studies will be presented as posters. The top rated research studies will be selected for the oral presentations.

Abstract Format & Guidelines

Poster abstracts should be formatted according to the following:

Font type: Times New Roman or Arial
Font size: 11 or larger
Do not exceed one page in length

Abstracts must include:

All authors and their affiliation(s)
Please underline the presenting author's name
Poster title

The word limit for abstract submissions is 500 words. Please structure the abstract based on the requirements for your type of abstract below:

Case Report content must be structured in the following four categories: Case Diagnosis, Case Description, Discussion, and Conclusions.
Research Study abstracts must be structured to summarize the research objectives, design, results, and conclusions.

Abstracts should be submitted by the presenting author. Additional authors can be noted on the abstract but please do not add as team members on this site. This will help eliminate any confusion about who will be presenting the poster.
