Academic Leadership Training (PAL)
Generously sponsored by the Roosevelt Warm Springs Foundation, the AAP offers the Program for Academic Leadership (PAL), a 3 year program to develop academic leadership skills in junior PM&R faculty.

Medical Student Virtual Intro to PM&R
Each summer, AAP hosts a 4-week summer course to introduce medical students to the specialty of PM&R. Registration opens in April.
Research-Based (RREMS)
The AAP offers RREMS for medical students with strong research interests, providing exposure to a structured research experience & leading faculty.
Start or Improve a Residency Program (READI)
The PM&R Residency Expansion and Development Initiative (READI) assists institutions to create new residency programs or improve existing programs.
Advocacy & Public Policy Leadership (APPL)
APPL provides promising physiatrists an opportunity to develop skills as a Health Policy leader with a combination of education, legislative training, and mentoring to propel success as an advocate.
