Jewel is a dedicated education specialist and brings 9+ years’ experience in the health care industry to the AAP. Her previous position, with the University of Maryland School of Medicine, gave her a unique view into the daily lives of physicians and hospital staff, and she uses this insight to effectively communicate with and anticipate the needs of members here at the AAP. Jewel oversees memberships and also acts as the staff representative for the Program Coordinators Council and the Administrative Directors Council. When Jewel is not at the AAP, you can find her gaming with her husband and two sons, painting, or trying new recipes.
