Join us on Thursday, August 6 at 7 pm ET / 6 pm CT when Dr. Prateek Grover of Penn State Health will share his professional path and advocacy journey through his participation in So Every BODY Can Move, a national effort to secure fair insurance coverage for medically necessary orthotic and prosthetic (O&P) devices.

This session is part of the Advocacy and Public Policy Program (APPL) and is open to members and prospective applicants who are interested in auditing a webinar to learn more about the program experience.

Dr. Grover is PM&R Vice Chair of Quality and Safety and Director of the Limb Loss and Preservation Rehabilitation Continuum at Penn State Health. He has participated in press briefings and legislative meetings at the Pennsylvania State Capitol in support of So Every BODY Can Move. He also emphasizes the importance of advocacy opportunities for trainees, including engaging with legislative committees, building coalitions, and translating rehabilitation expertise into public policy.

So Every BODY Can Move is improving access to life-changing prosthetic and orthotic care by mobilizing grassroots advocates and advancing state-by-state legislative change, with a goal to enact legislation in 28 states by the 2028 Los Angeles Paralympics.
