Congratulations on being selected to present your poster or paper at Physiatry ’25!
Here are some general guidelines to get you started:
Posters will be on display in the Poster Gallery for one day of the conference (Thursday or Friday).
You will be notified of your assigned presentation day.
The days cannot be changed once they have been assigned.
Scientific papers will be podium presentations scheduled throughout the meeting and are intended to highlight quality research practice, scientific merit, and educational value to the meeting participants.
At least one author of your accepted Poster or Scientific Paper must register to attend the annual meeting.
Registration for poster and scientific paper presenters is not complimentary.
Don’t forget to spread the word!
Share the good news about your accepted poster or scientific paper with your community using our “I’m presenting” graphic via email, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and any other digital platform you use. Graphics can be downloaded from the Presenter Hub. The official hashtag for the meeting is #Physiatry25.
Poster Presenter Guidelines
Your poster should be a stand-alone, self-explanatory display, allowing viewers to read on their own while you address individual questions. Every poster should lend itself to presenting information in a self-explanatory format.
You will not submit your poster electronically prior to the meeting. You will need to print your poster and bring it to the meeting to display in one of the Poster Gallery Receptions.
IMPORTANT: The presenting author is the sole point of contact for all abstract co-authors. All communication and inquiries will be sent to the presenting author.
All posters will be provided with 1/2 of 1 side of a 4’x8’ display board. Recommended printing size is 48 inches by 36 inches. Poster components must be able to fit on the display board without overlap.
Fonts should be sans-serif (e.g., Arial, Calibri, etc.) and large enough to read clearly when viewing the poster.
You are responsible for being available to answer questions about your poster during the assigned date and time.
The Poster Galleries will take place on Thursday, February 27 and Friday, February 28.
Poster Printing
The AAP is partnering with and only endorses PosterNerd to offer poster printing services for Physiatry ’25 attendees. More information on the poster options is available on the PosterNerd web site. Scientific Paper Presenter Guidelines
Your Scientific Paper (oral) presentation should include PowerPoint slides to describe your research and may also include figures, tables and references to highlight important aspects of your work.

Do not reference any company/product brand names during your presentation. However, institution logos (e.g. non-company/product logos such as universities, non-profit associations and government agencies) are allowed.
