Become a RREMS Site Sponsor for 2027 and provide a student with exposure to research in academic PM&R. The deadline to sign up for 2027 is October 5.
Students will spend eight weeks at your institution working on a research project with a PM&R mentor. AAP covers the student stipend for the summer and site sponsors support the travel, hotel and registration of the trainee to the AAP’s Annual Meeting.
Your site must provide a contact person who can talk to students and help to devise potential projects of interest and connect the student with mentors. Websites for the institutions are also requested so that students may browse abstracts and information about projects. We encourage you to consider listing RREMS-appropriate mentors and projects that work well in the eight-week time frame students have in the program.

Students may reach out to you with questions about mentors and projects. Please do not commit to any students until after the Interest Form deadline of November 13. The students will be given the go ahead to confirm a mentor/project and start work on their application and research proposal at that time.
If a student has contacted you already and you wish to work with that student only, they need to complete the Interest Form and note that in the comment section. We want them to go through the application process like the other students.
