We are thrilled that you will be presenting a session at ISPRM 2020, the joint AAP Annual Meeting and ISPRM World Congress. Thank you for joining us in our mission to connect physiatry professionals, encourage collaboration and education, and advance the specialty worldwide. We look forward to seeing you and learning from you on March 4-9, 2020 at the Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando, Florida, USA.

Bookmark this page and refer to it often to make sure you've completed all of the tasks we need to confirm, schedule and promote your educational session.

Your Action is Needed

Now that you know your proposal was accepted for ISPRM 2020, we have a bit of housekeeping we need to take care of. We know there’s a lot to go over and we promise to take up as little of your time as possible.

  1. Reply to your acceptance email or email Candace Street to confirm that you will be speaking at ISPRM 2020 no later than August 8, 2019. Your confirmation is also an agreement to the session title, learning objectives and speakers included in your acceptance email.
  2. Complete and sign our speaker disclosure form no later than Friday, August 23, 2019.
  3. ISPRM 2020 would not be what it is without amazing speakers such as you. We want to make the biggest and best meeting possible, and we need your help to do so. Below are three relatively easy ways you can help us make this a reality:
    1. Spread the word about your accepted session using our “I’m presenting” graphics via email, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and any other digital platform you use.
    2. Write a blog post about your accepted topic. Please coordinate with Jackie Dilworth to get your post on our editorial calendar. Also, if you write one on your own blog or that of your institution’s, let us know so we can share!
    3. Create a 30-second video encouraging people to attend your talk. As ISPRM 2020 attendees start planning their schedules, we want to help draw them to your session with a short video about your topic. Email your completed video so we can publish and share.
    4. The event hashtag is #ISPRM2020. Share, share, share!
  4. Registration for ISPRM 2020 opens on September 23, 2019. As a speaker, you must also register to attend the conference (no complimentary registrations are given). If you are or have international speakers or non-physiatry speakers, please contact Candace Street for registration information. Details on how to book your hotel will also be made available when registration opens.
  5. We respectfully request that all speakers use our branded slides for their presentations. Please use this link to download the slides. Upload your completed PowerPoint presentation no later than Friday, January 17, 2020 (instructions on where to upload your presentation are forthcoming).

Creating a schedule with the amount of content we have is very complicated, and we need your cooperation to be flexible with us. Please do not plan meetings, sightseeing trips, or other activities until you know the date and time of your session. It is very difficult to make changes once the schedule is set.

We also request that all of our speakers spend time at the conference, beyond your scheduled sessions. Our attendees are eager to spend time with our thought leaders, so please schedule time to attend some of our networking events, exhibit floor and hallway schmoozing.

Again, thank you for being a part of ISPRM 2020. This is destined to be the AAP’s and ISPRM’s biggest year yet, and we are grateful to have you alongside us. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact Candace Street.
