Board of Trustees

The success of the AAP depends on its volunteer leadership, and there is no better example of this than the Board of Trustees.

The Board ensures that all association activities are consistent with the mission of promoting physiatry by advancing education and research. They set policy, budget, strategic goals, and objectives for the AAP while also overseeing the activities of committees, councils, and other association groups. In addition, the Board facilitates the interaction and develops relationships with other organizations and entities that are a part of academic medicine.
