Apply to the BRIGHT Program

We are excited to announce an opportunity for PM&R residents interested in global health: the BRIGHT (Building Rehabilitation Initiatives in Global Health Training) Program

The BRIGHT Program is a global health curriculum tailored to physiatrists, comprising educational seminars and collaborative projects focused on promoting reduction of health disparities, global health ethics, advocacy, and effecting change in health and social policy.

Upon fulfilling all requirements, BRIGHT trainees will receive a certification of completion.

Requirements:

  • Applicants must be PGY3 or PGY4s in ACGME accredited PM&R residency programs.
  • Trainees must complete readings and corresponding assignments offline.
  • Be available for virtual seminars held ~1 time per month on weekday evenings with each session lasting 1-1.5 hours.
  • Participation requires approval from the trainee’s program director.

Deadlines:
The program runs from September 2025 through June 2026. Please apply by Saturday, June 28, 2025 for consideration.
