Adam is the Chair of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and a Professor at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/ Northwell. He also directs all physical medicine and rehabilitation services and education across Northwell Health.
His focus is on building a strategic plan for rehabilitation medicine, promoting utilization of services throughout the continuum and developing programs of distinction.
Gwen is the Chair and Professor of PM&R at UPMC and Director of the UPMC Rehabilitation Institute. She is also Co-Director of the Ferguson Laboratory for Orthopaedic and Spine Research. She has authored and co-authored over 60
original research publications and 35 book chapters and reviews, and given over 200 national presentations.
Karen is a Professor of PM&R at UT Southwestern Medical Center and winner of the 2018 AAP Distinguished Academician Award. The principal investigator for the renowned North Texas Burn Rehabilitation Model System, she has published
more than 110 peer-reviewed publications and abstracts – many related to burn care and outcomes – and delivered 90-plus invited lectures.
John serves as Vice President for Research, Chair of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Professor at Case Western Reserve University/ MetroHealth. He has authored over 100 peer-reviewed publications and over 20 reviews, book
chapters and books. He has also been awarded 13 patents. John is an Associate Editor for AJPM&R (the AAP's medical journal) and an Editor of the field’s premier text book, DeLisa’s Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation: Principles
Pablo is the Chair, Professor and Vice Chair of Research for PM&R at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He is also the Physiatrist-in-Chief at Johns Hopkins Hospital and Director of the Human Brain Physiology and
Walter is a Professor of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at the University of Puerto Rico. He has served as the Inaugural Chair of PM&R at the UPR, Harvard Medical School/Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital and Vanderbilt
University. Walter has also published more than 230 scientific manuscripts including 16 edited books and is Editor-in-Chief of the American Journal of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He is an elected member of the National
Academy of Medicine and Past President of ISPRM. Walter has presented invited lectures in 53 countries and is Past-President of the International Federation of Sports Medicine (FIMS).
Marlis is an Associate Professor of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She also serves as the Medical Director of Outpatient PM&R Clinics at Johns Hopkins. She has won several
awards for her research, including the Passano Physician Scientists Award, the New Investigator Award of the Foundation for Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and a Traveling Fellowship Award from the Japanese Association of
Prakash is an Assistant Professor of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, as well as an Attending Physician and Clinician-Scientist in Sports Medicine at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab.
