Be an Editor of AJPM&R's Resident-Fellow Section
Share |

The AAP's Resident/Fellow Council has partnered with the American Journal of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation to launch a Resident-Fellow Section this year! This section provides an opportunity for physiatry trainees to publish original content focused on material relevant to physiatry education and training, in a peer-reviewed journal.

We are now accepting applications for two PGY-3's with significant prior research experience to join the Board as Section Editors. These roles would include reviewing and critiquing submissions to the Resident-Fellow Corner under the supervision of an Associate Editor, Dinesh Kumbhare, MD, PhD. As an Editor of the Resident-Fellow Section, you will be required to review and provide constructive comments for 1-3 articles a month and see these articles through to publication. We anticipate the time commitment to be approximately 10-20 hours per month. Selected Editors will have the option to remain on the Editorial Staff until the completion of their residency/fellowship training (2-3 years).

Eligibility Requirements:

  • As of July 1, 2019, you must be a PGY-3 resident at a ACGME accredited PM&R residency program
  • Have an active AAP membership

Application Process:

Please submit the following information using the form provided below:
