AAP Call for PAL candidates now OPEN!

Directed by Gary S. Clark, MD, MMM, CPE, the AAP Program for Academic Leadership (PAL) is a three-year program that develops academic leadership in junior PM&R faculty. Applications for the incoming 2016 class to begin at the AAP Annual Meeting in Sacramento will be accepted July 1 – August 25, 2015.

Candidates will attend a different three-day course during each of three
consecutive AAP annual meetings. The content will focus on department administration, teaching and education, and research. Candidates should be members of the AAP, be full-time faculty members at an Instructor, Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level, have graduated from their PM&R residency after 2009, and have demonstrated the desire and ability to assume a leadership role in their department, medical school or in the field of rehabilitation medicine.
