The Rehabilitation Medicine Scientist Training Program (RMSTP) needs your help identifying residents

As you may know, the RMSTP is an NIH funded grant that provides 3 years of salary and research support for selected fellows. During the three years, fellows work with mentors to develop advanced research skills that enable them to compete for independent funding. To help residents and junior faculty prepare the application needed to obtain the three year fellowship we offer a pre-application workshop each year at the Association of Academic Physiatrist meeting. Applications for the pre-application workshop are due on December 1st. While we accept all junior faculty and resident submission for the pre application workshop, the ideal resident candidate is in their PGY 2 year. Residents starting the workshop in their PGY 2 year will have the time needed to develop a strong fellowship application, which is usually submitted in the PGY 4 year.
