AAP Announces in Administrative Directors Council

The first AAP Admin Directors program, business meeting and networking dinner will debut at the 2013 AAP Annual Meeting in New Orleans, March 6 - 10

The Association of Academic Physiatrists (AAP) is pleased to announce the establishment of a new membership council, the Administrative Directors Council.  We would like to invite you to join the council at the introductory rate of $159 for an extended 13-month period.


The mission of the Administrative Directors Council is to advance academic physiatry through addressing business issues and successful principles that are fundamental to all academically based programs, including healthcare reform, physician compensation models, productivity metrics and benchmarks, research management, strategic planning, value driven outcomes and much more.


The Administrative Directors Council will host their own program each year at the AAP Annual Meeting with expert speakers in many of these critical and timely topics that we deal with on a daily basis.  The annual program will also include a dinner and business meeting with plenty of time to network, discuss important issues, and share ideas and solutions with colleagues.

The 2013 AAP Annual Meeting is being held in New Orleans, March 6 – 10.  This will be a great opportunity to meet one another, interact with the speakers as well as participate in a joint session with PM&R Program Chairs from across the country.

There will also be ample opportunities for networking and information sharing between Administrative Directors through membership listservs/emails, newsletters and conference calls throughout the year.
