ABOUT THE

For more than 65 years, physiatrists have turned to the American Journal of PM&R for high quality, peer-reviewed articles. Many use the Journal as a part of their syllabus for classroom learning materials in their roles as professors.

A few of the benefits you can expect from the Journal include being able to:

  • Keep pace with the latest advances in PM&R
  • Receive excellent coverage on the clinical aspects of physical medicine, rehabilitation, and electrodiagnosis
  • Learn about promising new research from both basic science and clinical perspectives
  • Improve your own design and implementation of projects
  • Discover the latest innovations in the application of modern teaching techniques/technology for all levels of institutional programs
  • Stay current on news and calendar of events

Since 1996, readers have been able to read CME articles and complete the self-assessment exam for Category 1 CME credit. The following chart illustrates the success of that program. The program allows readers to earn credits from issues of the Journal dating back to the first issue of the previous year, i.e. in 2003 a reader may submit CME articles from Journal issue Volume 81 Number 1 through the current issue.
