ldrc Member-At-Large position

The Leadership Development and Recognition Committee (LDRC) is charged with developing future leadership for the AAP to ensure the ongoing success of the organization. This involves selection of talented members to serve on committees and, as they gain experience, identification of future leaders for Board membership and roles as officers, as well as recognizing the talents and accomplishments of AAP members.

The AAP LDRC is seeking volunteers to fill one (1) Member-at-Large position. The representative will be selected by a vote of the membership at the 2017 AAP Annual Meeting in Las Vegas.

The person receiving the most votes will serve a two-year term beginning immediately following the Annual Meeting.

Certain criteria must be met in order to serve on an AAP committee. Volunteers must:

  • be a member of AAP upon application and for the duration of the appointment,
  • be willing and able to participate in the activities of the committee, support its mission or concern, and carry out assignments in a timely manner, and
  • complete the following online application.

Applications are no longer being accepted for the 2017 LDRC Member-at-Large position.
