 The AAP is turning 50!  That's right - Ernest Johnson, MD, AAP's 'founding father' started the AAP in 1967 with a small group of physiatric leaders to improve the scientific rigor of the specialty.

Over 400 new AAP members – adding to our overall number of 1,400+ members


Our 2016 Annual Meeting in Sacramento, CA was the 4th year in a row that it broke membership attendance with almost 900 members

The launch of AAP’s Virtual Campus – an on-demand service that offers comprehensive academic physiatry information to members, students, residents etc.
