Medical students have been selected to participate in this summer's AAP PM&R externships — Rehabilitation Research Experience for Medical Students (RREMS) and Medical Student Summer Clinical Externship (MSSCE)!
RREMS and MSSCE are eight-week summer externships offered to medical students between the first and second year of medical school with an attached stipend of $4,000. Each student is expected to submit a research study (RREMS participants) or a case report (MSSCE participants) for presentation at the AAP Annual Meeting. The programs aim to attract high quality medical students into rehabilitation research and clinical PM&R, and also serve to enhance the visibility and appreciation of the specialty of physiatry within the medical student community.
29 high quality candidates were selected to participate in 2015 AAP Medical Student Externships. Congratulations!
