Multiple Sclerosis Society awarded one of its highest honors - the Lifetime
Achievement Award - to George Kraft, MD, MS of the University of Washington
Department of Rehabilitation Medicine. The award, presented to Dr. Kraft at the
society's national conference in Dallas on November 3, 2011, recognizes 35 or
more years of service to MS care. Dr. Kraft is a well-known expert in multiple
sclerosis clinical care, education and research. He joined the University of
Washington faculty in 1969 and has served as director of the UW Medicine Multiple
Sclerosis Center since 1982.
