FOREWORD Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is an exciting and rapidly growing specialty. This has been demonstrated by the significant increase in medical students applying for PM&R residency positions. The purpose of this publication is to assist medical students and other physicians who have decided to pursue a career in PM&R. Along with the directory of accredited residencies, there is a listing of fellowships and resident electives in PM&R. Additional information describes the major organizations in the field and how to apply for residency. Also included are materials from the ABPMR and a selected reading list for the field of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
