AANEM - American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine Founded in 1953, the AANEM is a non-profit organization that focuses on promoting and extending opportunity growth to physicians associated with electrodiagnostic medicine. It is the link to resident registration, evalution forms, change of status, board certification, contact and updated information. ACGME  - Accreditation Council of Graduate Medical Education: Founded in 1981, the ACGME is a non-profit organization that fosters innovation, education, efficiency and communication to all institutions and residency programs in the United States. The ACGME website is the must know to all coordinators. It is the guide to the Common Program Requirements (CPR), Program Information Form (PIF), Resident Survey, and Web ADS. www.acgme.org

ERAS “Electronic Residency Application Service”—is a service that transmits residency applications, letters of recommendation, MSPEs, transcripts, and other supporting credentials from applicants and medical schools to fellowship, osteopathic internship, and residency programs using the internet.
Program Director's Workstation (PDWS). This is ERAS software used by program staff to receive, sort, review, evaluate, and rank applications.

FCVS – Federation of State Medical Services was founded in 1996. This service is used to verify prior medical education, exams, and board certification verification among other services. It is mostly used by the residents and fellows. You can access this site by logging to www.fsmb.org/fcvs.html

GME Track is a resident database and tracking system designed to assist Program directors and coordinators in collecting and managing resident data and is able to view and print resident information and program rosters at www.aamc.org/progams/gmetrack/start.htm

NRMP - National Resident Matching Program. NRMP was established in 1952. Their main job is to match resident candidates and programs with their preference with each other. Great website with great benefits to medical students, residents, fellows, administrators and program directors for accessing information, data and the big Rank and Match process.
